The Bank on LA Campaign is a social-marketing campaign spearheaded by Mayor Villaraigosa and the United Way. The campaign raises awareness about benefits of banking. It engages financial institutions that commit personnel and product lines to serve unbanked residents. The campaign focuses on hoods which have the highest concentration of unbanked households in the city: Westlake, Boyle Heights, Pacoima, and Vernon-Central. CFRC will be the lead agency in the Vernon-Central hood of South LA.
